Depends what kind of mood I am in, or how I am using it in a sentence. I usually pronounce it rout though(or raught as you spelled it, not correct).

As far as "Route" goes, I say it like "root"
As far as "Router" goes, I say "Raughter"

You should add a second poll for "Router"

root

if you mean "router" then it depends on the context:

root-er: Something that finds a route for communications
rowt-er: A tool for making a rout (a cut) in wood.

If it is the name of a road (go down route 66), I would say Root.
If it is a verb (I have to route the cables), I would say the other way.

Ditto. "root" as in "root" 80, "raught" as in "Raughter"

"State Route(raught) 69"

"Get your kicks on Route(Root) 66"

Who knows. I guess it depends on where you live.
