Roush Parts for my F-150

Depends on the application. On it's own, not a big gain, but with other mods may be necessary. For example, the increased boost on my last car required a CAI or you could not feed enough volume.

It also depends on how rich the vehicle was tuned to run from the factory. For example, back when I purchased my evo in 2008, they were tuned to run very rich from the factory. Adding a higher flowing intake leaned them out about a half point which gave excellent power gains for the money (and even with that they were still on the rich/safe side). That being said, with a proper tune, the stock intake on the evo is pretty effective until you upgrade your turbo. This isn't the normal case at all.

Your previous car was a CTS-v right Kent?

Have a 2007 F150 4.6 V8 XLT. On the exhaust I went with Magnaflow 2.5 in with dual 2.5 out the back, just enough showing to contour the bumper with Magnaflow 2.5 angled roll tips. They are labeled Magnaflow on top, so I set them just clear of the name. I don't like drone at highway speeds and it is quiet under 1800rpms. Cost was $150 parts from Summit Racing, $150 install. Tuner, I have is an Edge Evolution for 3 years now. Its OK for a canned tune, love the dash board adapter, looks like it is made to it, one day I'll send it off and have it upgraded to a Gryphon. The main reason I got it, the tires and wheels are not factory. They are the 275/55/20 with 3.55 LS differential, instead of the 235/70/17 stock. Slow take offs. When programmed to those new specs my speedometer reads true plus it adjusts the computer to give the transmission the umph to get those tires rolling. The Ford dealer wanted $110 to flash the truck to new tire setting, which is a factory size option. Instead I spent the $300 for the edge as it is a code reader as well and has come in handy when a COP has went out. CAI I am not a big believer in, forced air supercharger, yes...So I just run a K & N during the humid summers here, and the stock paper during dry or heavy pollen season. Oil test have shown me that the K&N does let more dirt, labeled silicates on results, through compared to paper, but it breaths much better in the summer with it.

I think it'll be sick! I personally like the Corsa DB exhaust for the ecoboosts compared to the Roush, but you gotta go with what gets you that warranty if that's your comfort zone.

Well, money just got really tight. Sucks.

I decided to just change out my filter to an AEM dryflow and call it a day for now. I did a lot of reading on the full racing ecoboost page and they indicated stock airbox was more than sufficient, especially with this filter.

I'll look to a tune and perhaps an exhaust in the future. Probably not the exhaust anytime soon. Most sound awful (it is a V6 after all) after looking more into things.

Thanks for the input guys!

That seemed to always happen to me as I modded my truck 🙁.

Anyways, for the gentlemen of the thread, this is why I recommend the DB with a resonator delete: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXJ5VM_5KgU

Thanks for the link. Not too bad.

Those tires though! :awe:

He's got some more stuff out there, but his truck is pretty delicious. Modded inside and out to be a quiet cruiser, but capable for camping and trails. I'm not huge on fire engine red paint colors though...

Blue Flame was what I was going to order my 2014 F-150 in  Best color in the lineup if you ask me. Then money happened and I got a Green Envy 2014 Fiesta Hatchback :\
