Rounding IDE Cables

The cables in the my case take up a lot of room and since I'm cheap, I want to round them myselft. Does anyone have a link to show how to do this? I think I pretty much know, but don't want to mess up too many cables. Thanks
 
Its really simple to do, no need for a page. All you do is make cuts (i use my fingernail but you can use a very thing knife to do it) between every 3 or 4 cables all the way down, then use something like electrical tape to tape them up and make them round. I actually prefer folding my cables, you fold em in half, them fold each side in half again, then tape em up or use cable ties, less chance of breaking a cable and its much easier, plus you get about the same result.

I was just trying to be helpful. Its a lot easier to see from example then it is from reading texts.

 
i second the notion of just folding them and and using cable ties...it is thus as small as it can get, u might lose an inch or so since it makes it stiff near the connectors, dont put the ites too close to the connectors, you dont want the stress pulling the cables, although it shouldnt matter.

Don't use round cables unless you have to unplug them frequently (most have connectors that are much easier to pull so that you don't have to pull by the cable itself), and don't turn flat cables into round ones because that removes one ground wire per signal wire and makes the signals worse (but probably not enough to hurt).
