Rounders question

Watching rounders again right now, and I have a beef, when Mike loses to Teddy in the first game (teddy has aces full)
Joey is standing right behind Mike and makes no idication that he knows teddy might have a better hand, even though
he is a career player and should have read it in a second.

maybe I'm just a little too picky.

any thoughts?

First of all it's just a movie. What's the chance the script would include a detail like that. Also, they are professional poker players. They DON't react to things...if they did they would lose.

Oh wait you are right. When professionals get a real good hand they always grin and giggle like a schoolgirl. And when they get bad cards they curse and say "awww man..."

Couldn't tell you although I do agree rounders is an awesome movie. If I could see that part in the movie maybe I'd agree (it's been a while). Still great movie though 😀

You know what I don't get. In Oceans Eleven when pitt is standing at the bottom of the stairs waiting for julia roberts to come down he's eating a shrimp cocktail of a plate. When they cut away and come back he's eating it out of a glass. Wtf? Errr, actually, who cares. It's still a great movie. Same for rounders.

Btw, no, I didn't catch the above mentioned inconsistency on my own. Heard it on the radio the other day.

I think if he would have leaned over and told Mike that he was in trouble KGB would have killed him. Observers really shouldn't interfere like that.

Oh, I get it. He's going to piss off KGB, who's connected to the russian mob, by tipping mike off. That makes good sense. Btw, how is he going to do this in a subtle way since he's standing behind mike. What's he supposed to do, whistle at him?
