Rounded IDE cables?

Paid a visit to my local geek shop (they do the most amazing mains extension kits...couldn't live without them now) and I found these 'Rounded IDE cables' for sale.
I've seen a lot of talk here about the rounded IDE cables - what's the benefit? Airflow? Well - that's hardly a huge issue is it on a normal PC?

That is the main thing, airflow and coolness factor. Air flow to some people is very important, they oc and want as much air going over their components as possible. Good air movement is needed in a good system, increases stability by decreasing heat.



Plus it looks cool. :)

Also because they are round they look tidy and make tidying your case easier as well :).
