Rounded Cables...Homemade v. Machine Made?

Just wondering if anyone has done comparisons between homemade and machine made/purchased rounded cables. I'm rounding my own but was curious about possible crosstalk issues or longevity issue with homemade ones.

Anyone??
 
I still don't get the part of how home made ones can have crosstalk issues compared to a machine opt version.
 
I've rounded four sets of cables for friends and myself, none of us have had any issues. Only thing I don't like, is those darn DMA100/66 cables, so many tiny wires.

Anyway - I even broke the shield on one wire (didn't cut the wire) and wrapped it with electrical tape - works like a charm.

Benchmarked my drives with Sandra before and after with identical results.
