Ok, well I see some of these "Premium" Copper Braided Cables for like $15, then I see some for $5. Are they really differnt from one another?

Thanks

No, lol that's not the question. The question is, "Are there any differences between the expensive rounded cables and the cheaper ones?".

Oh, lol. I'd say that the cheap ones are the same, as long as they don't come from "Bob's Cables that He Assembles in His North Korean Basement with the Aid of Squirels and Makes Using Noodles Instead of Wire Because It's Cheaper".

You can actually get the best airflow with the flat cables if you are good at the cable oragami.

The copper braiding might help against EMI inside your case a bit, but cheap ones should work just as well.

Just get the cheaper ones.

Not really. As long as they are twisted pair, you're good.

Yeah, I might end up just getting the cheaper ones, but I just folded the ribbon ones in my current PC and they actually look quite nice when folded correctly.

I use the Vantec rounded cables that are like 6 bux at NewEgg. The really cheapo ones have caused me problems in the past.

I use the $6 vantec ones. I know when rounded cables had just became a fad there were problems with quality. Stick with a reputable dealer (like those vantec)

What wrong with your brain????lol :) Just dont get maddog cable get like vantec anything other than maddog. If you have ribbon cables you can make them into round cable by cutting between each wire with like a knife of something sharp and then just tie them together

I would have always said no, but after having a few of the cheap ones fail on me, nad have to be replaced, I go with the best I can find now.
