Yeah, I'm back nos and this time it's personal. JK. I didn't get my GF2 64mb pro but I got my problems fixed. I had to drop down 1mhz on the bus speed but my rig still kicks your ass.

As of now with a puny GTS 32mb I get around 8.59k. Now if I had an Ultra in my box I'm positive I'd get over 10k. And that's with a 300mhz deficeit. I'm at 1.445ghz and you are at 1.7ghz. Quite shameful.

anyway, eat your crow. And show me some damn memory benchmarks. Don't give me the 'but I can't upload to my cable providers website' line, I'm sure you've heard of this little thing called geocities/angelfire.

Dude, you have a convoluted sense of reality. Because you got the P4 cheap doesnt mean that AMDs suck.

Just because I can get a lear jet for $500 dollars doesn't make every other mode of transportation suck ass. (Using the same train of thought as you.)

And don't tell me to quit my whining, I've shown more than you have. So start showing us your memory benchmark and gimme a comparison URL for your p4 with a GTS card.

Perhaps you should walk the walk now. because quite frankly, I don't believe a single word you say about the P4 'owning' anything.

The memory benchmarks of the P4 are not attributed to the CPU itself. If anything, we should all give credit to RAMBUS. I mean i'm not pro-RAMBUS but the p4 would suck horribly if it used PC133 SDRAM.

You know quick, there is a huge need for a faster memory solution, SDRAM won't be able to scale.... we need something else.... there's a huge ?? left next to the &quot;Future Memory&quot; slot.

yes i agree with you. except that i'm not sure the ??? isn't anyone we know now. we all see that when rambus is implemented properly, it workes very well and has no need for CPU speed increases for increased memory performace (as SDRAM needs). Who knows? But until someone is willing to invent something different, we'll be stuck with rambus.
