Round Internal Cables: Are the worth it??

I'm thinking of getting some round cables - are they worth it and do they perform as well as the regular ribbon cables. I would be getting floppy, ide, scsi (lvd & idc)

thanks

don't think they are worth it. and some of them may be manufactured wrong, I read an article about how the insulation isn't as good in these rounded cables. just go to home depot and pick up a pack of the black round tubes. cost me less than 2 bucks, and i used less than a quarter of it.

here's how my case looks now: http://www.dcdomain.org/r5/images/misc/casetube.jpg

Strictly from an engineering standpoint, no. They defeat the point of the cable design, especially 80wire ATA and SCSI cables. your better off with the tubing idea from DCDomain.
