Round-a-bout fix for a sound problem

I don't know if anyone remembers my problem in this thread but I seemed to have solved it. I formatted and installed XP and I haven't had a problem with the sound for anything I have put on there so far. I might have been able to do the same thing by reformatting and reinstalling 98, but I figured why not upgrade at the same time. I think Win 98 must have had a problem with the order something was installed or some thing stupid like that. Just thought I would post to anyone who was wondering how it turned out.
