Roughly how long will a avg cellphone battery (lg 4400 phone) hold its charge If it is NOT inserted in the phone?

Anyway, it depends on the phone. My motorola e815 lasts 2-3 days with little talking. But I try not to push the batteries limits, batteryuniversity say its bad.
