I watched that game. I was a little concerned there during the first half. Illinois had every chance to walk away with it but they just couldn't hold on.

I've taken down my OSU banner for now. I should have known something was wrong when they could barely squeek wins by MAC teams.

OSU has killed Nugent's shot at a Heisman. 🙁
 
Don't worry. OSU could still blank UK by a similar margin. UK football is teh suck. Thank God basketball season begun last night with Midnight Madness.

Edit: take, for instance, tonight's game against South Carolina. It's halftime and UK already has 3 turnovers. The only reason they're only down 6-0 is because SC has been equally inept hanging onto the ball tonight.

 
yah we suck this year, the talent is there but the coaching and just the little things everywhere...we have absolutely nothing we can say "is good" lets build on that or something of that nature..we have a kicking team but can't even get in kicking range...60yds : (


all that crap about people saying how lucky osu is or doesn't derserve this and that..we are just getting everything handed back to us this year.

next year though.. : )

there's not gonna be one easy game though and I can't believe you'd take your osu banner down. Where's your pride?

i gurantee you though go back a 100 yrs and there's not gonna be any games maybe a couple where a team has rushed for 27 yds and won the game...sigh

I'm happy though that smith got a chance to play because he deserved a chance, I knew he wasn't going to be the savior, yah it'd be nice, but it was a shot that maybe could put a spark in the team..it didn't.

It's not one person's fault though, the entire team sucks. Iowa is not that good, it's the same team that got owned by asu...osu used to just kill heissman quarterback candidates, we bearly even blitzed/pressured..

i wouldn't be so pissed off either, but I feel that the coaching has been rather poor too.

woody hayes always said something along the lines of doing the best with what you got..I buy into the fact that something isn't broke don't fix it, but everything is wrong and they didn't change things up from last week, it was pretty much the exact same gameplan and it failed.

We're not even improving weekly...

I wish this week Tressel would just say no position is guranteed, everybody has to earn their spot...it really seemed like our guys just let down...didn't play with pride once we got down so early, I'm just f'in glad we didn't get shut out..even though probably deserved to.

anyway i still bleed scarlet and grey, like i said next year : D
