I hate National Sports announcers. It's like Jean Segura wasn't even in the game. But there was much more important single run hits by real major league teams like the Yankees or Boston. There is never any respect for even winning teams in the Northwest. Now I will get off my soap box. .

Dude... try Milwaukee. Nobody even knows where we are (well except now thanks to Hader we got some news time)

Wow, that sucks. Show of hands--who here didn't crack homophobic or racist jokes back in middle school or high school? I know I sure did. Hell, I was in Catholic school (even though my parents and I weren't even Christian...but I digress.) We hated on everyone!

The big difference was that if I ever wrote any of that stuff down, it was in notes physically passed back and forth (or if we dared it was in chalk on school walls or nastygrams left in bathroom stalls.) None of that shit permanently follows you around like social media.

Do we really need to hold adults accountable for everyone they offended as minors?

Well, the good news thus far is it appears neither the Brewers, nor the league are coming down on him hard. Idiots in the public will still hold his fee to the fire, but those are the people that will never be happy no matter what so you have to just write them off. The key here is how his teammates and opponents are going to respond to it. Hopefully they understand as well. Lorenzo Cain, a veteran and leader on the Brewers (and fellow all-star teammate) seemed to take it in stride and understood the situation for what it was/is.

Malpractice by his agent. Should have questioned him on his past posts or hired someone to do forensics on his social media upon signing with MLB. Would have gone better if he admitted in advance. That kind of shit you would remember.
