there were no lines for me, of course i saw the midnight showing at a 24 screen multiplex that had 10 screens all showing the film. i will say however that almost every showing was pretty full.
Well they corral people here in holdout lines outside the theater, I imagine people are going to be dressed as gnomes and other virgin worthy outfits. I don't really want to stand out there for 2 hours...
I went to the 3:20 showing, bought the tickets online. No lines at the ticket windows, but there was a line in the theatre just to get into the room. This was an hour early too.
I live in the NYC metro area and I heard on the radio that in the area the movie is playing on 99 screens. So unless you go to the prime time showing you should be able to see the movie without waiting in line or being crowded by a full house.
