There's no homosexuals in horror flicks?

Like for instance, in the countless incarnations of Freddy or Jason there's no gay people or lesbians or whatever - not just as victims, but hero/heroines, hell, even the villains themselves. I would think that there'd be a lot of villain archetypes back in the day when being gay was seen as being a deviant; or conversely, slasher flicks rely on overt nudity - why not have a scene w/ some lesbians going at it before they are inevitably hacked into pieces?

But to be fair, I'm not too up to date on homosexual affairs nor am I a big fan of horror/slasher flicks, but I don't recollect seeing any . . ..

Although I'd also point out that brutally murdering somebody onscreen after taking the time to make a point of their sexuality (horror films in general are short on exposition and long on boobies and gore, by their very nature) only exposes the filmmaker to accusations of bigotry. (See "Black Guy Dies First.") Lesbians get a pass because the primary target demographic finds them particularly titillating.
