Has anybody actually heard one of these things, the numbers look impressive. @12k though, im gonna weight until the tech trickles down somewhat...

According to the AVS thread about it its been out for like 5 years
and some people are DIYing them down to 5Hz

Yeah, these have been around for a while. You really need to right space for them, as they are a lot like an infinite baffle subwoofer (i.e. they need to be in a separate space with a battle to the listening room, and the second room needs to be tuned and/or sized appropriately)
