Its a long personal story about family, as for friends, they were close to the boy that was tortured and killed.

'Schwab raped and killed Junny a month after he was released early from a prison sentence he got for raping a 13-year-old boy. The case prompted Florida's Junny Rios-Martinez Act of 1992, which prohibits sex offenders from early release from prison or getting credit for good behavior.'

What a fucking joke. Yes, Florida 'fixed' this issue with the Act that was passed in 1992, but why would someone EVER be let out of prison after raping a 13 year old?

Rot in hell indeed.

As far as this "early release" clause: Is it just violent sex offenders or any sex offenders? I don't consider someone who has consentual sex with a 17 year old on the same level as someone who rapes... well, anyone, really. But they're still considered a sex offender. Zero tolerance laws are never a good idea; there should be room for discretion in handling any case.

As for this guy, he reinforces my belief that the death penalty has value. Some people just cannot be allowed to live. Good riddance.

You people should be ashamed, celebrating the death of a fellow human being. Yes he did wrong, but you should understand he was troubled and probably suffered more than those he inflicted suffering upon. The death penalty is a barbaric ritual.....aww fuck it. This guy deserved it.

Oh, without question it's only violent sex offenders. The laws governing consensual cases involving minors is just as absurd as the early release laws for violent offenders. A perfect example:

Genarlow Wilson

To me, it's just common sense:

- A man violently rapes a 13 year old boy, and is sentenced to 8 years. He's released after only 3 years served.

- A 17 year old kid gets a blow job from a willing 15 year old girl, and get 10 years without parole.

I just don't get it. People say that our judicial system 'works', but more and more, I just don't see it.

Yeah, my personal opinion is that child molesters cannot be reformed. There is something not right with them to begin with. Same with serial killers.

I read about this yesterday before I left work. It bugged me all night... stalked and murdered a kid who won a kite flying contest? I couldn't make up something more depressing. I was the same age as this kid in 1991.

State execution is too good for this guy.

Yeah, it was easy way out for him. Basically he doesn't pay for the crime because he doesn't exist anymore. There are ways to make him pay for rest of his life... hard labor 24/7, guinea pig for various experiments that need to be performed on humans, life threating jobs, etc.

I'm a pretty big fan of having death row inmates live in constant fear of death by not letting them know when they will be executed. In fact-- the execution day should be chosen at random, with the death squad visiting the condemned at random intervals just to mess with their minds.

Between that, the demeaning physical labor, poor food, and no access to anything beyond the necessities of life (i.e. no books, TV, etc) ., they will yearn for death and pray each time the death squad visits them that this time it is for real. Then you let them live like that for the remainder of their pathetic existence.

We have time.

A really good friend and my sisters ex BF (same person) was the boy he first got jailtime for. He was sentenced for 8 years and got out in less than half that. Shortly after is when he tortured and murdered Junny.
I won't mention other information because it is personal. This piece of shit didn't suffer enough for all of the pain he caused.
