Roswell Declassified

Interesting.

I am sure that those who are hot on the conspiracy theories will just blow this off as another part of the conspiracy, though.

Sad.

Regardless of my opinion on Roswell, I'd be really naive to think the government would allow any interesting records to be found even if it was declassified. The same applies to all other intelligence.

I actually stopped by Roswell on my way back from a road trip about a month ago. It was kind of funny. The 'museum' that I stopped by was hilarious. They had little GI Joe (?) models depicting alien UFO crash sites. They also had an alien autopsy exhibit, which was donated from some movie or TV show. It had a bunch of little alien souvenir shops around it and they all sold the same $1 plastic alien type things.

I agree too. I was just saying that this isn't going to convince anybody of anything.

That article sucks. Didn't say a damn thing except that some guy who forged his past died.
The article said quite a lot, if you don't read it expecting a particular result.

That 'some guy' was arguably the greatest purveyor and instigator of all 'alien spacecraft' and 'military coverup' rumors you've ever read or heard about the Roswell 'incident'.

What they found was that he forged his military service record in order to give himself a lot more credibility than he had. Instead of the 'military intelligence' officer he claimed to be, a position which would clearly give more credibility to him being 'in the loop' or privileged to highly sensitive information, the guy was just a desk clerk looking to turn 15 minutes of fame into 15 years.

Very typical in these kinds of conspiracy theories.
