Rosewill Geforce 5200 wont go above 1280x1024 resolution

I have tried to go above this resolution and the card wont. I have a dell 2001fp and its native resolution is 1600x1200 and i cant get above the resolution listed above. HELP!
 
yes i have.. i uninstalled the old ones and re installed new ones....I can select 1600x1200 but my monitor goes black....and i'm on dvi
