Rosewill Capstone

Wow, we got a Rosewill agent here?!?! Welcome to AnandTech Forums!

I personally use a Capstone 450W in my current rig. So far it has met my needs, though I wish it was "shorter" because it sticks out the back of my system since there wasn't room inside.

arrived today and i got it installed.

looks really nice, i like the "rock" finish.

one thing i dont like is how frustrating it in installing these when you have a big cooler etc... so frustrating with the stiff cables, you think you are going to break something.

anyways, so far so good.

cheers,

Is it ok to use the 2x pci-e connectors from the same modular cable to power my 7950?

Or should I ease 1 each from seperate modular cables?

Thanks,

Yes it's ok. A unit with 4x PCIe connectors is designed to work with dual high end GPUs, in which case you'd be also using two connectors from the same cable

I'm always amazed by the crowd that yaps about dual connector cables being stupid, " a 6 pin only carries 75 watts " :\
My oc'd GTX570 is powered by a dual connector cable
