Does anyone know if this has any linux support under ubuntu 14.04 or later?
A friend of mine is looking for a mechanical keyboard <$100 with backlight, mostly for typing, maybe a little gaming, but they don't care at all about programming keys/macros. I'm mostly worried that backlight controls won't work since I don't see a backlight control button, so I'm worried that you need their drivers to set-up stuff like that and their drivers are explicitly windows only.
My personal experience is that the Logitech g710+ works well under windows and linux out of the box, so I recommended that, but they'd like to stay under $100, and preferably under $90, and I've seen the Rosewill at $80 several times while the g710+ is more like $110-120.
