Rosewill 550W Modular Power Supply 46.98 AR shipped

Seems to be a good price for a modular power supply. Don't have any experiance with the brand. Also, will not work for SLI.

For people that have more than 2 SATA devices, you may wish to look elsewhere (this PSU only has 2 SATA connections)

1 x Main connector (20+4 pin)
1 x 12V (P4)
7 x peripheral
2 x SATA
2 x Floppy
1 x PCI-E

wow nice budget psu. Amp ratings look good too. Question is how stable it is. Good find OP. Appreciate your post.

Interesting that they used actual stock connectors for the terminals, I can't comment on the quality of this PSU, but design-wise that's actually a convenient feature. You can get cables that are just the right size for your case instead of having to use the oversized cables that come with most PSUs, or whip up your own custom ones.

Piece of crap PSU. Watch your components fry with this pathetic PSU. Numbers are one thing. Quality are another.
Any actual hard facts behind this statement? The other supplies (same supplies, just different colors) have high ratings at newegg. Granted this does not mean much, but it at least means more than this statement with nothing to back it up.

Isn't Rosewill Newegg's "house brand?"

Would be interesting to see a review of one of these from... Jonnyguru perhaps?

No, just a company with a large line of value products.

Well, it seems as if Rosewill products are only available at Newegg and Chiefvalue. For instance, AirLink+ is a Fry's brand and you'll only find their products at Fry's and Outpost.

From what I have heard from the Gurus of PSUs these modules are made by an OEM manufacturer named ATNG. The caps they use (or historically has been using) are not known for their reliability. Thats all I can add. Check badcaps.net's powersupply section for a small discussion.

Are you sure? Where else can you fine a Rosewill PSU?
