A new application version, 4.78, has been released for Rosetta.

The rosetta application has been updated on all platforms. The updated versions should have a smaller memory footprint and the OSX version should also run on 10.3.9+.

Now lets see if this fixes some of the problems.

In fact, you have most likely been running it since Wednesday night or Thursday morning without even knowing it.

/EDIT/

The memory footprint should be a tad less too.

Yip, I've got some WUs now at the end of my list that say "application = 4.78" but it'll take a couple of days till I reach them.

So, did the new version cure some of the problems mostly all of us had? I haven't gotten to any WUs yet with the new core.

Sean, does R@H run on your laptop now?

I am going to try the laptop tonight. But.. I have gotten some hangs today, so that one is still there (although now that I think about it, I am not positive it was 4.78. I am just pretty sure...).

I think this was mostly a fix for Mac 1.3.9 and some minor things. If you remember the thread on the TAS forum, David Kim said he was going to script in a time limit. Not sure if that actually made it into this one or not.

Honestly though, I think there will still be some lingering issues for a while still. Hopefully not long, but I am not even hopeful anymore that any fix will come before TAS is done, and maybe even before December.
