• We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. Rosetta@home: Lets welcome our newest members for September 20 & 21, 2005

And to those who may be following the progress of Rosetta in the project boards, they just released a new app version. I was personally having problems whenever I shutdown my laptop. When I would bring it back online, all progress on the WU would be lost (or rather the CPU time would be lost, not the percent completed progress, so I would not get the real credit deserved). The new app is supposed to fix this.

 
Look at the upcoming weekly BOINC stats too. I'll be adding Rosetta & i see the TeAm has already moved from 50something into the top 20 😀
 
Yeah, its good to see us move up. But with only four members, we will not stay there long. With all the BOINC projects we go up against the likes of BOINC Synergy which concentrate on BOINC only, and others.

Plus, Rosetta is still Beta so many may not join till it goes stable...

Joined with two comps and 25% of each comp. May not produce so much but some ...🙂
 
Sounds good. I do not have that many on it myself yet. I was to busy trying to gain first place for E@H 🙂 Perhaps I will add a few more now...
 
Not yet. Remember, this is still in Beta. They are getting the bugs out still. Yet I am amazed at how responsive the project is. Yesterday they released two new client apps that fixed my issues, and made the project run MUCH faster on Windows boxes. A screensaver is on the list, but will not be done for a while more.
