Please abort work units with names that start with "DOC_" AND contain the text "pert_bench_1263_". For example, "DOC_4HTC_U_pert_bench_1263_1000_0". These work units have been cancelled due to an earlier complication that was causing them to fail. See our Technical News for details.

Thanks for the heads up BMC

Do you know if they just fail out quickly, crunch long then give bad result, or hoze the OS?

(trying to avoid chasing down the machines to delete the bad WUs.... gonna cost me much?

I don't know Sid, but I doubt that they crash Windows/Linux. In the past, bad WUs simply errored out (so no credit) or took way too long (so no credit either, 'cause they ran longer than their deadline).

I took a look at my results and I see lots of computing errors (edit: should have said "client erors" not computing errors), but they are all "download errors" and it looks like it is only costing me a little wasted bandwidth. (no lost crunching time) :)
