Hi Ken, long time no see. 🙂 Its nice to crunch with my friends again. 🙂

These little things are nothing compared to the crap we had to deal with the first year of D2OL! LOL KEEP ON CRUNCHING! This is going to be a fun project!

D2OL... ahhh...those were the days.... hoarding files full of work and sticking them on FTP servers... lol....

Great to be crunching with some familiar faces (names?) and looking forward to making new friends!

How are you John? 🙂

Hi Geoff, Im fine thanks. About 8 nodes shy of what I used to run though.. LOL Yep, D2OL was a labor of love just to be able to run it daily. Fortunately we had a tough crew of loyal DC folks who never said DIE! Heh!

Another D2Ol vet checking in, that was a great run we had there when we took over first place...jeez, is that three years ago now...wow, it can't have been that long.

Oh well, it is nice to crunch with all the familar folks again, glad to see everyone back in the same project.

Welcome new members! 😀

Looks like Mondo joined us, good news for the R@H TeAm as he packs SERIOUS crunching power. I look forward to move down to 4th on the TeAm, lol.

Good to see you mastertech, this is a fine TeAm!

Thanks BMC! 🙂

Yeah, they are legit. frags in the context of this project means protien fragments.

Although, it would be fun to run around with that BFG and make some noise 😀

I read that we should be expecting to see more and more variation in work unit types because they have opened submission to more of the scientists on the project and they can submit WUs instead of only the one scientist that was doing it.

this is also how some OOPses made it into the queue  The really bad ones are purged now, and you might (probably will) see some that error out after only 20 seconds or so. they are not an issue. it will move on to the rest. Rosetta is promising a new and improved quality assurance system to be put in place after the holidays to minimize these OOPSes.

Cool, thanks for the info Sid.

Yeah Ive had about half dozen oopses and most are about .08 sec no problem so far.
