it takes care of it itself. Only the BOINC client needs updated manually.

I am sooooo going to be getting a whuppin'

Been trying to decide what is next... put the guts of my Barton from this upgrade in a case and bring it on-line or do the (second) Barton -> X2 upgrade on the one that's still running? (~$300 for the X2 build (just need the CPU) or ~$150 to case, etc, to do the Barton)

My son spent 1/2 an hour showing me all the things he could turn on in his games if I do the X2 first.... But Dad (me) wants a TIVO box in the living room (the Barton with a Hauppauge)

(the second barton will be caseless/headless in the garage.... doing what?......... CRUNCHING! )
