I'll be heading of to Iraq soon, so I'll only be around for a month. Perhaps in a year I'll be back to crunch some more.

Thanks for not doing nothing

PS: Please start a thread a few days before you go so we can give you a send off.

PPS: My oldest (18) son started boot camp last week - I have mixed feelings, proud but a little scared too.

Could someone clue me in on how to increase the queue for R@H? I've been having two on my machine at once, working on one and one in waiting, however right now there's just the one I'm working on, no reserves. My DSL does go down occassionally and it'd be nice to have a few to work on when that happens.

Sure!

Go to the Rosetta site, go into "your account", click on "General preferences - View or edit", click on "Edit preferences", and enter the value you want to have in the field "Connect to network about every".

If you set that one to 5 days, you'll receive about 5 days worth of WUs. But be carefull. These settings apply to ALL BOINC projects, not just to Rosetta. So, if you have three projects going on (like Rosetta, SETI and Predictor) each of these projects will download 5 days of cache, meaning you all of a sudden have 15 days worth of cache, which will usually bring you into trouble with deadlines.

So, adjust these settings carefully.
