SitRep for the TeAm and Rosetta News:
  • Welcome to Rosetta mordrid52! :beer:
  • Today's special congrats go to jw.middleton who passed 500,000 creds :beer::shocked::gift:
  • Congrats also fo to Ed Johnson for passing 10,000 creds :cookie:
  • We had 73 active members (42.94%).
  • Official News: Looks like David Baker received a whole lot of money from the Bill Gates foundation to sponsor his research:

    Rosetta@home in the news: Rosetta@home is featured in a Seattle Times article about the Gates' Foundation awarding of $287 million for HIV vaccine research - we particularly enjoyed the phrase 'a wild-haired David Baker, a University of Washington biochemist and wunderkind'...

Thanks guys! Don't know how many will see this, but with this milestone I'm slowing way down. With the heat in my computer room it is costing a lot to keep there boxes running. Maybe when things cool down I'll start some others back up.

Good news indeed. Now Bill Gates is a team member if not a TeAm member........;)

Thanks BMC. :thumbsup:

I hear that JWMiddleton. It is too bad we can't find a way to make electricity without generating so much heat.................

All practicallity aside it would be nice if you could take the heat from the computer, use it to run a steam or some other generator to run the computer. :D Free power. :p
