So come Monday morning, we are in the top 5. In 2 weeks, we move up again. And if we can throw in another horde or two, we could be in the top 3 in 6 months or less.

I think Crazee has something in mind that might be what the Dr. ordered!

Hopefully that is just my first milestone of many to come. I was getting ready to add another pc to the "fleet," but a friend needed it, so I ended up selling it. Oh well, I'll be looking for something to do some full-time crunching. :)

The Deathstar is almost fully operational. I have a new CIO starting at the college soon and my boss wants to be sure he has no problems with us doing it. (The PR from the college volunteering resources to fight diseases holds a lot of sway with the administration so I don't anticipate problems) But more importantly I am awaiting final word from the project as to how many they can handle. I got word from Dr. Baker that he thought they had made the upgrades to the system so the No Work from Project would not appear, but I have seen it on some machines recently. I have sent another message to confirm. I don't want to end up bringing the project down. I will still probably ramp up slowly when ready but I would feel more comfortable knowing they are ready. :)

Cool Beans! I know there are some concerns about the numbers of clients. They have almost 65,000 hosts now... it doesn't seem like even 500 more hosts would be difficult for them to manage. Have they given you any clue on what they are prepared to handle. (I thought they were already set for 100K+ hosts.)

The Deathstar is not 500 but 5,000 clients :) with the vast majority P4 2.8 HT and above.

Hehe, you write a script for me that draws the numbers and sorts them and I'll give you a top 100 if you want me to ;)

You are saying that your stats thread is made manually?!?
If that's so, then wow, great work!

I did the daily stats for United Devices a while back (couldn't find a thread anymore..) and made a script that fetches all stats and I only had to copy/paste the data...

I could make you a script that does the same thing if you want ofcourse..

top100? do we even have 100 members? :p
