Roses on the side of the road FTW :)

Went browsing around yesterday for roses after i ruled out the florist i usually use... they wanted $89 delivered for a dozen long stem...

BJ's - Dozen for $24.99
Target - Crappy Dozen for $24.99 (they looked pitiful)
Publix - $29.99 for a Dozen

Stopped by a truck parked on the side of the road, $13 for a dozen roses, looked a TON fresher and healthier than the crop they were selling at the other stores...

Anyone else buy em off the side of the road?

I got 2 dozen for $5 today.

I got 2 dozen yesterday for $20. They were very fresh too.

I didnt even have to check to know you were in Florida, i miss being able to get them fresher and cheaper from the side of the road. No vans here in Washington.
