IMO, if you are only going to give her the one rose, you shouldn't bother with a vase. She'll probably have one of her own at home.

hmm... I'd usually say stick to either 1 or 12 roses, but since it's 6 months, half a dozen sounds ok. But then I'd definitely go with a vase, 6 is a bit of a weird number.

I think a single rose in a very slender vase is nice. all you need to do is add a little filler (like those tiny white flowers)...if you are giving it to her for when you go to pick her up though, it might be cuter to just hand it to her without a vase (of having it lying on your passenger seat)

if you want to do a case and don't have a small one, you can alway surround the single rose with some other type of flower. that can be neat too.

I dunno. Seems a little bit too passive and awkward to me. I agree with lilfajita that you should physically give the rose(s) to her. It can then be followed up by a hug/kiss whatever whereas laying it in the car induces some awkwardness.

Give that some thought.

I guess it depends. Someone did it for me once, and I thought it was really adorable. I wasn't expecting it, so it was a nice surprise.

and is also not very romantic. You give plants to like your 50 year old neighbor or something like that. You give roses to your wife/gf/ etc.
Why are you giving her a rose and a dozen roses? That makes 13 roses, bad # if you ask me, plus it's too much.

Plants are something you give to your mother or nursing home residents, unless the woman is big into gardening they aren't a good V day choice.
