Rose Bowl Thread? USC v Illinois

If there's any compliment that I can throw IL's way it's that they went from winning 8 games the previous 3 seasons COMBINED to making it the Rose bowl this year and beating the number one of the best teams in the nation along the way (OSU).

They just simply aren't prepared to play a team as skilled and well coached as USC.
 
Yay! Just got back from the Rose bowl. Good times there at the stadium. The illinois fans were really nice people (which was quite a foreign feeling being at the Rose Bowl with nice opposing fans (yes, UCLA, I'm talking about you)).

More support for the fact that USC, Georgia, and Missouri ALL should have been ahead of Ohio State for the championship game.
