No Roslyn Carter funeral thread so will post here. Good Melania is attending. But shows how much a jackass the orange monkey by not going. Sure no one wants him there. So will avoid any awkward situations.

Invitation required. I don't know if Trump was invited or not, but if he was I can't imagine him passing it up-think of the treasure trove of angry, bitter, low class and belittling twits he could have generated out of it.

IMO Melania showed perasonal class by attending, although some would equate her wearing a brown coat instead of black to be the equivalent to Obama's tan suit faux pas.

I *think* there is some sort of tradition with the First Ladies that the living First Ladies sit together sans Husbands.
I am no expert, I sort of remember this coming up with Nancy Regans and someone else.

per tradition the presidents of opposite parties do not attend the funerals of former first ladies. or so i heard.

We already know Pres. Carter is short on time, but the photos really crystallize it. Hope he gets to go peacefully when it's time.
I actually don't know their history well, but prayers to the Carters for their loss.

I'm just a person that doesn't believe in god. I do believe in people that try to make things better for others .
Jimmy tried his best to make things better for us human beings .
