I jus wondered as i had a really... diverise group of peeps for my first year in uni. I got landed with this girl who just had some kinda OCD about cleaning... onetime me and ma neighbor were sprayin shaving foam everywhere, the whole bottom end of the hallway was covered in it, miss OCD comes out her room starts to weep and rushes back in  Didnt understand her at all.

We also had this guy from kuwait, jesus.... he just gave the word arrogant a whole new meaning. What a douchebag. First thing he did when he came in was try to establish his superiority to everyone else and then claim kuwait is awsome and better than briton and then try and say he can pull any bird he wants.... Never pulled once the whole time he was there. Eventually i put him in his place and he never said a word to me again. Twas funny, id come into the kitchen n yell "HEY AHMED!! HOWS IT HANGIN!!" n he would just glare at me :D kuwait: 0 Briton: 1

So did anyone else have to live with any oddballs or irritating people?

Dorm life Freshman year:
First guy i lived with at college: Took 4/5 of the room before I got there. Slept during the day, stayed up all night. We didnt mix well at all, however we are still good friends.
Anywho, I moved out during the semester into another guy that was just like me. We were kinda untidy but it was a lot of fun.

Dorm life Sophomore year i had a single for a while until the beast moved in. Ive posted a picture of him eating butter. Link if you missed it (kinda large picture) I'd find strands of his long hair all over the place. Living in that room physically made me sick.
Second semester I got the hell out of there and moved in with a country-listening farm guy. He was really cool though so I didnt mind.

Junior Year:
House with FallenHero, the first guy I mentioned (he lives on the floor below us), a short guy, a fat guy (he called himself fat so it wasnt mean). The fat guy pretty much fried everything in Peanut oil. Everything. Lots of weird smells came from downstairs. Other than that it rocked.

Senior Year:
Same house with FallenHero (who just posted a thread about me being drunk last night), the first guy i mentioned, the same short guy, and the fat guy got replaced with one of our friends (he decided to move out). It rocks.

Just people who don't know how to take the trash to the dumpster or put dishes in a dishwasher or remove their clothing from the laundry room.

Freshman year: Roommate dropped out after 3 months. Wanted to be a tattoo artist, introduced me to my good friend, Mary Jane.
Sophmore year: Socialist guy from Moracco. Very cool, hated Bush with a pasion.
Past 2 years: 2 guys I've known since freshman year. Both of them are mechanical engineers, but party with the best of them. Lots of fun and I'm looking forward to this year with them .

I shared a suite with 3 other guys one summer. The one guy had his own room which he was always in with the door closed. When he opened it to go out you could tell because of the smell that filled the place.

On move out day his parents were helping him move and had left to take a load down to the car. I said to a friend who was helping me "well if they didn't know how bad he smells they do now." I walk past his door and to make another trip and see that I was mistaken, his Mom didn't go down with them. Oops. Maybe she said something to him!

shared a house with these two other guys (laste 20s). problem was, one of them owned the house, so that sucked. Got into a huge argument one night and I ended up moving out at 2am. Since then (May of this year) I've been living in a 4bdr townhouse by myself.

I'm moving to another house in september though. Don't know who else will be living there, so I'm hoping for the best, fearing the worst.

Just to clarify my lack of British slang, does "pull a bird" mean have get/make out with/have sex with a girl?

My roomate has an emo picture on his Facebook. I hope he's not an emo i love you when I get down there.

I IM'd him and this was the conversation:

MrCodeDude87 (2:26:54 PM): Looks like we're going to be roomates @ Cal Poly. I'm Michael from San Jose.
removed (3:17:20 PM): Roomies eh?
MrCodeDude87 (3:22:08 PM): I guess so
removed (3:31:02 PM): = 3
MrCodeDude87 (3:31:08 PM): what?
removed (3:31:09 PM): Do you drink/smoke?
MrCodeDude87 (3:31:11 PM): ...no, why?
removed (3:31:16 PM): We'll get along fine then

That was kind of a weird first question to ask.

i lived with a 48 year old woman (mind you, i was 24) and she was psycho. i just wanted my own space and the building and rent was great though, so i stuck it out for about 10 months. it finally hit me why she's unmarried (trust me on this one boys, you'd never want to hit it) since she can't live with people. i found out after i signed the lease that she had evicted two previous occupants, one of whom was a friend of mine and is perfectly normal and livable. she ended up doing the same to me and the other roommate (there were three of us ... the two of us got along great). sucked for her though; she probably is still looking for roommates, and if she ended up with anyone, we'll see how short-lived it will be.

honestly, i don't keep tabs so i don't care, but having to call the cops on her multiple times because she kept tossing my stuff (with force, attempting breakage) around kind of explains why i really didn't (and still don't) like her.

Freshman Year, Fall Semester: random roommate. we hated eachother. there was a lot of catty fighting and misc crap; I moved into a better form for the Spring semester.

Freshman Year, Spring Semester: random roommate in a different dorm. we were pretty much indifferent to eachother. I thought he was a freak, but he kept his mess and freakishness on his side of the room, so we got along fine. I later found out that he got arrested for arson after dropping out of college.

Sophomore Year, Fall/Spring: lived with a friend in the best dorm on campus (dorm was right in the middle of things, with a short walk to the library, cafeteria, and all class buildings). great year. he moved off campus the next year, though, since he only had one semester to go before graduation.

Junior Year, Fall/Spring: started out great. I kept the same room I had Soph year and invited another friend to room with me. great experience, but shortly before Thanksgiving, he went kinda crazy. he attacked me, disappeared for 2 weeks, and then dropped out of school to move to England to be with his mom (and also be under psychiatric care). after he dropped out, I got stuck with a random Freshman. this kid was disgusting. he was gay, but not good looking or clean at all. he'd walk around with his hairy gut hanging out all the time, and somehow came back from taking a shower smelling worse than he did when he went in. he didn't have a computer, so I let him use mine at first, but one day, I was looking in my history and noticed a bunch of child porn sites :disgust: at that point, I set my screensaver to 1 minute and put a password on my pc. he also dropped out at the end of the year to go to a school closer to home.

Senior Year, Fall/Spring: moved off-campus with a friend. awsome experience.

after graduating and getting a job, the guy that I had been living with during senior year and I found a new place, and he's currently my roommate right now.
