In that case, there's nothing that you can do really. As long as it's not your computer doing the sharing, don't worry about it. From what I can gather on the RIAA's lawsuits, they are more than willing to amend the complaints if the person sharing the files is not the same as the person to whom the account is registered.

Just have her transfer the account into her name. That way you're not responsible. Else she has to stop with the piracy. I think it's a fair choice.

if the access is in his name, he should ask her to change the name on the account or stop using p2p. it is still an illegal activity whethor we here at AT like the RIAA or not, it is still illegal. and since his name is on the account, he could be held liable. that's enough for him to insist that she stop the activity OR they go thru the steps and change the name on the account.
