Can anyone confirm this with a link? I drove, just this weekend, by a Wards store and didn't see any "Closing Sale" tag on their doors.

No rumor, but sad truth. Montgomery Ward can't compete with the Wal-Marts and Targets springing up like red-headed children all over the country, so GE pulled their backing. Bye bye MW (and their 37,000+ employees)!

I feel dumb. I just bought a new washer\Dryer set from them.. Maybe I should of waited for the close out sales...
