Perhaps this is not a PC hardware question but I would still consider it a "gadget", I'm thinking of purchasing a Roomba vac but there seems to be many models which make it hard to choose.

If you have any opinion or model advice feel free to reply.

I'm looking for something that would be w HEPA filters, I saw some models w HEPA but they were more expansive. I'm wondering if one could buy HEPA filters separately and put them in to a cheaper model.

Thanks!

Im pretty sure Hepa filters will only fit the hepa models. Otherwise why even make em? Roombas really dont work that well. Money best spent on a dyson.

A Roomba isn't exactly a 'needed' device so, I recommend modding the hell out of it to include cat flipper, tazer, laser bug zapper, beer fetcher and crushed ice maker. Oh and, duct tape a few hepa filters on it if that's your thing.

Money spent on a roomba is wasted, unless you just want it for the novelty factor.

Money spent on a dyson is at least 50% wasted, since you can get a better vacuum for less than half the cost of the dyson.
