Roomate with P4 2.8E

My roomate has a 2.8E Prescott proc with a solid Asus mobo. He is a little afraid to OC, because I finally made him realize why people call them preshotts. Anyways, he now has a zalman 7000cu, so he has the temps down a little, although he has yet to find a good way to get a valid temp reading. I want to help him get to 3.2, as I would think that would be possible. His ambient temps arent great, but he has 4 80mm fans blowin air through the case, so I feel like he should be alright. Any idea whether we should try oc to 3.2? Oh yeah and its a socket 478, forgot to mention that. He has crap ram thats already running at a divider, and should be able to handle a minor overclock. Thanks.

My 2.8e is at 3.5ghz on my asus p4p800. The crap ram could be a limiter, but you should be able to hit 3.2. What motherboard does he have exactly? My idle temp is at 45c, and I hit 60c under full load, using a Thermalright sp94 and a thermaltake 92mm 72.5cfm fan.
