His drunk self decides to let random people into the apartment last night to drink with him since no one else was around. Now all my beer and a few other items (cds, ps2 games) are missing. The apartment was trashed this morning when I left and I am sure it will be that way when I return this evening.

Of course if all the trash is still on the table and spread out on the floor, it will all end up in his bed.

This was no party. It was him just letting random people in (5 of them) because he came back drunk from the bars and wanted more to drink, but not drink alone.

Haven't seen him yet today since we will probably roll out of bed around 4. I left at 8 this morning and won't be back until after 8 or so.

 
That really sucks. This is why I will never have a roommate again. EVAR.

The problem is "what do you do now?"

Force him to replace the items that were stolen?

Kick his ass, twice?

Add the cost of replacing said items to "his share of next months' bills?"

Do nothing, and risk this crap happening again?

Bad situation. Move out or throw him out. If he was that drunk to not notice people taking small things, how long until you come home and your entire apartment is cleaned-out to include the furniture and your doggie?

What kind of people do you associate with? I never have had a single thing stolen at a party by my friends.

Hes talking about when people you don't know show up at parties and steal.
