Something is up with my IE lately... when using EBay, I sign in initially, and then it seems almost any navigation to any page prompts it to ask me to sign in again, and so on, and so on. What am I missing here? My cookies are open to accept all right now and that isn't working, I've had the privacy and security settings all over the dial trying to get it to work better. Other webpages work fine. Any help would be fantastic.

PS. Haven't been here in awhile, new look is very nice.

I recently read that Ebay was having some problems with session hijacking so they lowered their cookie expiration time quite a bit. I notice you say that "almost" any navigation causes you to log in. Chances are, this is the normal new behavior. Expect more websites to do things like this in the future. I can't remember exactly where I heard about this but I think it was from a Microsoft employee at an ASP.NET Security seminar. I haven't done too much broswing there lately so I can't verify that I'm seeing the same thing. I'm not sure what else the problem could be other than cookies which you said you checked already. I think this is just the way Ebay is going to work from here on out.

Yikes, I hope that's not it. I upgraded my MSN Messenger to 6.2 just now at work, and going through the options I see the dialog about 'Allow automatic sign in when connected to the Internet' -- I'm not sure if I have that box checked or not at home. Obviously I should, that could be the source of my problems -- works much better here and I think that should be about the only difference.

Thanks for your insight though, I'll keep it in mind when I write EBay a nasty complaint should checking that box not fix my problems.
