roofing question

I am trying to estimate how many shingles I need to get.
according to one manufacturers website their shingles come 80 to a bundle, and a square (don't know how many bundles are in a square) covers 200 sq ft.
are these industry standards?

I have 2000 sqft of roof to cover.

1 square = 100 square feet. Period. Don't know where they got that it was 200 feet.

Your roof is 20 square.

Typical 3 tab shingles will cover one square with approximately 66 to 80 shingles. A timberline-style shingle will get one square in 66 to 90 shingles. Depends on the exposure.

It takes three bundles of three tab shingles to cover one square of roof area. If you have 2000 square feet of roof area you need 60 bundles plus 10 to 15% waste depending on the style of roof.
