Yepper his nomination for VA chief has brought him more trouble. Now the Pentagon is conducting an investigation into the allegations of misconduct by him while serving at the WH. Also his nomination for a second star has been withdrawn.

They didn't nominate him for head of VA, he was just their doctor.

I kinda feel like this guy got railroaded in a way--but the problem being he never should have been nominated for such a position as head of the VA. He seems like a guy with the tools to do his job properly in the environment of the WH offices--allowing quick access to pills when needed, dealing with temperamental, overpaid assholes all day long, effective at the typical day-to-day checkup and general healthcare needs of a smaller patient population, while having the assistance of a staff to do much of the managing needs.

None of that is really what you need or what you want in the VA, and the real problem is that Drumpf is so thoroughly incompetent enough to just nominate the guy after 5 seconds of feels and the predictable defense of "well I didn't really know him anyway so it's not my fault!" when yet another mistake bites him.

I do feel bad for the guy.

Ronny is his given name. I don't know about his maturity but he wasn't the one to run the VA.
