NO wars to contend with, most power shifted back to the states instead of the fed gov. Might be such a cushy job that even a slacker like me would be willing to take it. ;)

This doesn't really bother me. It might make me a little more concerned about his selection of a runningmate, but other than that, I think that the experience that comes with age can be a plus. Heck, many other world leaders have been of that age group when they served.

You brought up the subject of age and the presidency. Reagan was the oldest in office in recent history so writing about him is relevant to the thread.
