$757,134.13 Donated today as of 1:15 CST.
I'm glad a lot of his money comes from supporters and not 99% corporate backing like most others.

Just wondering, does any other candidates ever have open donations? How much do they typically receive?

(ps: If you're pro-paul and you haven't at least donated $1, you should do that 🙂)

Even if I don't agree with 100% of his policies, I deeply respect Ron Paul. He's consistent and honest, and I wish him all the best.

The regular issue Republicans and Democrats are just flat liars. Worse, they are so obviously the same bag of shit in actuality, while they pretend to support the people they say they represent, they actually are just tools of the same puppet masters.

Just got home from the store and he's over $1 mil now.

I wish I could get $1 mil donations for my bday, would be greatest bday ever.

I admire the dedication of his cult following (annoying though they may be...) but really, he's not going to win.

Yeah I don't think he's got a realistic chance. I do hope, however, that some of his more profoundly intelligent stands on things like international spending and overseas involvement get some more coverage via debates/etc. As crazy as some people think he is, it's crazier still to spend trillions overseas on debacles that only enrich a few while making the rest of us poorer and no safer at all.

Right on Brother. Here's a guy that is a true cross over candidate. His message rings true to all if you actually listen to him.

The banksters in particular followed by our long standing meddling in other countries affairs.

Is he handsome? Hardly. Is he articulate? Nope. Is he electable? Obviously.

But since our presidents are picked out by someone else and then spoon fed to the masses we'll never get a quality president.

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Someone attacked his donation site, bringing it down for some 10 minutes or so.

He's back on his way to $1.5 mill...

???

No shit?

I bet it was a coalition of repubs and dems, scared of how Ron paul raises money from everyone and spends it on what he says he will.

One of my favorite stories of Ron Paul is how he let his son live with him in DC, until he got his own place, he just asked his son not to expect cooking.

Ron Paul has terrible policies and I very much oppose him.

But I support what would help him get elected - a move for states to 'ranked voting', so that you can vote for who you want, without throwing away your vote.

That and reforming money in elections are the two best things to help democracy.

The way I look at it is to say money donated to Ron Paul is like putting super expensive clothing on a corpse just before a funeral, all dressed up and no place to go.

There is a reason the world has never tried a Fibertarian style government in the history of the world, and never will. But Ron's fantasy tattoo, seems to be pulling wasted money from the crowd of crazies, of which there is no shortage. As ole Ron Paul gets handsomely rewarded for his fantasies. The buzzing of the bees in the cigarette trees on the big rock candy mountain has endless variations.

But still why should I be hostile, happy Birth day Ron Paul, and leave it at that.

he's gonna win, mark my words.

hehe democrats figured it out, pretend to be a republican ROFL. lets go to war!! not.
