So .... Regeneron, which makes these monoclonal antibodies, says that they don’t work against Omicron.

But for SOME REASON Ron DeSantis is falsely claiming that they do work

Citadel owns $16 million of Regeneron stock. Citadel CEO, his biggest donor, gave DeSantis $11 million. I’m sure this is just a coincidence

DeSantis is pushing a useless treatment. He doesn’t give a fuck whether you live or die, as long as he can prove his loyalty to his donors

Remnants of our past, a lesson in white fragility

Hello hotlline!? .... Please help. My children are being taught that slavery is bad, democracy is good, JFK is dead and Joe Biden is President of the United States. These lies are undermining the conservative values we are committed to instilling in our children.

I’m reminded of the voter fraud hotline, specially of the time Lara Trump "owned the libs" by shutting down the number, announcing the new one and letting everyone know they would just keep changing the number if "liberals" kept calling in. She seemed to think this would work. She’s a very stupid woman.

Nope.

I quoted the post you were replying too.

I moved no goalpost.
So, not a big deal what DeSantis is doing? Even though Ronnie is trying to create a lily-white version of history where discrimination never existed that's no big deal right?

More games...

"I said history should be taught via the facts in an unbiased way. "

"We should strive for unbiased factual history or as close as we can make it. "

"should should should!" is your impossible fantasy wish for a thing that even you know is nonsense. Here, you strive to defend your argument for the implausible, and it's perfectly fine because you think "should!" is all that you need to claim here to win your "discussion with adults" participation badge.

Again, you argue for exactly nothing, blowing luke warm wind out of your main hole, and still seem to want to be taken seriously. You are an enigma.

Looks like DeSantis is trying to run his state like a plutocracy, just like Trump tried to run the nation for four years. Come to think of it, other Repub governors, especially those in poor southern states where the gap between rich and poor just makes running their states that much easier to run things that way. We've got little third world dictatorships that are trying to go for the big one to make their little ones more safe and secure.

Nice. /s

Where did you pull that comment out of?

My comment you responded to has nothing to do with DeSantis.

Some white Americans are the biggest snowflakes around. They can't handle the truth. They pass all these bills, so little suburban Susie doesn't feel bad. At the same time, little black kids have to deal with institutional racism.

Since I’ve been alive.

No shit. We had current event stuff in like every history class. It does help explain that poster's ignorance on basically every single issue though and why he's still stuck in pre-Civil War era American mindset.

But, is he seriously asking if they taught about WWII in history class prior to the 2000s? Was he home schooled? I really wanna know how he ended up being such a dumb mother fucker.

Okay sweet cheeks...

Do you use that term because you're used to tonguing asshole? Or is it just the phrase you hear the most on account of you permanently bent over spreading your cheeks for rich old white dudes?

The don't say gay bill making it's way through the Florida legislature would ban the teaching the incident at Pulse nightclub. It happened in Florida, but the motive can't be discussed. More Republican whitewashing based on discrimination
'Don't Say Gay' Bill Would Keep Florida Schools From Teaching Pulse Shooting (newsweek.com)

Now they're trying to cancel the Flintstones?!?!?

It'd be interesting to see the cultural aspects behind the lesson plans that teachers in the deep south work up for their students, especially in the area of social studies and American history.

It amazes me that those that constantly tout “cancel culture” this “cancel culture” that, continue to try to make laws that allow a single parents right to not be offended against the rest of the World’s right to know the truth. The true definition of snowflake.
