This man is not fit for presidency. He is not a people of the people.

Am I the only one that sees the resemblance?

I'd be interested to see the backup for the bottom 50%. That's obviously not the ratio of wealth. If it is absolute wealth, then you are misrepresenting reality.

Completely misleading statment since GDP was much lower 50 years ago. As an example bread was 5 cents a loaf back then.

More right wing misdirection.

It's fun times, when someone is deemed unfit for a leadership position because he did all too well.

Do people run their businesses like governments?

So what makes it look like a good idea to run government like a business?

Indeed. Some people are deemed unfit for a leadership because they went to good schools. You have to be a plumber to be considered a potential leader.

Maybe if the government ran more like a business we wouldn't be looking now at debt in the wrong side of 15 trillion USD.

If it was ran like a Romney run business, it would borrow another $10 Trillion and distribute it to his campaign donors :D

The goals of business are distinctly dissimilar to those of government.

For instance, what's the product that the government produces, and how is profit measured?

He is dead on correct. Vs. Obama's gaff into his true beliefs of "well, I think we need to spread it around" and "you've made enough money".

Nothing but envy and class warfare. The mind of a liberal believes if somebody is making more than them, the successful person somehow "stole" money from them.

No, we have seen things stay stagnant for 30 years while the high wage earners have improved their income by 3x.

I think the bigger issue with ROM'dney (although you have a great point) is the man seems to have foot in mouth disease.

He just seems to have some of the same uncomfortable and awkward feeling as Gore and Kerry did.

This is a very legit question, and not only can he not answer it, he answers it in such a strange, fake, and off-putting way. He's been doing this all over the place.

I don't think its really been noticed yet because much of his awkwardness and prickishness is being drowned out by historically bad R field, and he never rally answers anything of substance. Once he wraps up the nom and he's out on his own, he's likely to be an elitist gaffe machine.

well the problem is that it is true that the wealthiest folks in america are silly few in number. meanwhikle the average joe has to deal with job insecurity left and right. or working sometimes 2-3 jobs in order to make ends meet. practically half your nation is on foodstamps or as AJ would call them "a digital soup kitchen" so id say it isnt envy. no this is a prime case of the lower end being told its not okay to complain about what you dont have.. meanwhile they have less and less each passing day to go around.
envy isnt the word for this. its manipulationof the bottom end to keep the high end secure.

Work 2 or 3 jobs to pay for their $200,000 school debt where they majored in Art History and then popped out 5 kids.

There are plenty of people who live modest lifestyles and are perfectly happy with it.

The rest want things out of envy or made piss poor life decisions.
