This game is currently on my most wanted games list... higher than Half Life 2 even.

Anyway, I found a place that other people who are in anticipation might like.

They put a lot of effort into getting these vids up and running. All they ask is for the courtesy to register.

It doesn't take long, and they have a good host (I was getting over 200k/sec on most of them).

Are the controls going to be more intuitive this time around? Medieval frustrated the hell out of me because there was just too much to control when your army is huge

Have to download it at home. Company firewall filters out AVI's and Mpegs. Didn't play the original yet. Is it a RTS game? lol. Sorry for sounding like a complete noob.

I downloaded the wmv for TC_Telaman with the journalist. Looks cool. Those Journalists playing a defensive battle against the romans was funny.

It's an RTS and risk style game.
You move around armies on a tabletop type thing, between countries.
You have to manage buildings (like castles/pubs/archery ranges), and you can also fight the battles.

If you move an army onto a foreign country, you can fight the opposing nation in a RTS style, controlling the army itself.
You also have to manage your empire as a whole in a Risk style manner, so it's like two games in one.
(That's what Medieval is like, dunno what they might have changed for Rome besides units/tech and the game engine).

Thanks for the link, I'll check out the vids! This is my most wanted game of 2004 too! IGN rated it best game of E3 recently (Doom3 & HL2 are toast, although I'll still play them!)
