Rome Total War Startup Error

There are some people that are having the "insert correct cd and restart" error message including myself. After a lot of searching and asking around, I have decided that a no-cd crack would be my best option. I got the crack from game copy world and I unpacked it with WINRAR but I dont know what to do after that. Can anyone help me?

Probably copy it over the exe file. At least, that's what I did to stop those annoying messages. Back-up the old file if you're not sure.

Copy the no cd .exe (it should look like another RTW icon) into the directory you installed RTW in. It'll prompt you to overwrite, click yes and it should work.

Make sure you rename the original first
ie - RTW-orig.exe

ps - make sure you get the right nocd for the right version (1 v 1.1)
