Anyone else having problems with constant freezes and garbled graphics? It seems to occur more often now that i'm over halfway through the campaign.

I think I read somewhere about OC'ing being an issue with the game, especially with an nVidia chipset. I can't remember where I read that or if it was Total War. But you can always give that a shot.

I have not had 1 problem with it. Runs great with my 9800p but I just formatted a couple of weeks ago too.

Figured out what the problem was. It was the overclocking of my AMD proc. I just added the 6800 GT into the system a couple days ago so the power supply must not be able to handle both a 200 mhz overclock as well as the 6800 GT. Once I set the AMD 64 3000 back down to 2 GHZ the freezes stopped. I would like to bring it back up to 2.2 GHZ again however, is there some tweaking I can do with the voltages to make this happen?

Well make sure the power going to the GPU ISNT plugged into anything else and comes straight from the PSU.

Yeah, it is going straight from the PS to the 6800. The freezing started up again. I think I'll wait for the patch to come out to see if that fixes the freezing.

I had perfect performance - put on a 3% OC on thwe processor and had the exact problems you have. took away the 3% OC and its perfect again :/

Some mobo's OC (Such as MSI NEO2) even if you havent said so - loading 'optimal settings in BIOS on my board puts it in commander mode (which is a 3% OC)
